Sustainability Programme & Reporting Manager

Your role as a Sustainability Programme & Reporting Manager at our company is crucial to support our sustainability reporting team. You will take on the responsibility of owning and maintaining the sustainability software platform to meet reporting obligations like CSRD, Annual Sustainability Report, CDP, EcoVadis, and more. Additionally, you will be involved in supporting sustainability projects and programmes such as hydrogen and renewable energy.

Responsibility:

  • Support Implementation and Ongoing maintenance of sustainable software platform
  • Work with the sustainability software providers on requirements and design in configuring the reported KPIs
  • Design and document draft 'To Be' reporting process flows and Statement of Procedures
  • Supports / completes sustainability software system build
  • Builds system reports / dashboard
  • Supports all test cycles
  • Supports with coordinating test data, testing and performing UAT with super users
  • Supports with training & supports change management activities
  • Provides input into the future system maintenance Operating Model
  • Maintain the initially designed application
  • Run periodic procedures, integrity checks, ensuring submissions are made etc.
  • Manage user help desk queries covering the functional side from data inputs, KPI mappings, current reports etc.

Reporting:

  • Contribute to the implementation of our sustainability strategy by furnishing essential information for monitoring and assessing progress along our sustainability journey
  • Assist with SBTi processes (e.g. target setting, progress reports and revisions)
  • Assist with external data assurance process
  • Assist with submission and post assessment of external sustainability ratings and reporting (e.g. CDP, Ecovadis, etc.)
  • Coordinate reporting on Sedex and potentially other systems
  • Identify potential to improve external ratings
  • Prepare general sustainability documents (presentation, communications, reporting guidelines/policies, training materials etc.) for various purposes
  • Provide sustainability data for various reports including but not limited to customer requests and sustainability reports
  • Help to coordinate LCA Modelling e.g. with Industry Associations
  • Support queries with customers, investors and other stakeholders on sustainability matters incl. questionnaires
  • Support CSRD and other upcoming requirements on reporting

Projects:

  • Participate and/or stay up-to-speed on projects and programmes relevant to sustainability e.g., hydrogen, renewable electricity, etc.
  • Participation may include project management meetings, note taking, slide deck development, reporting, analysis or modeling, etc.

Professional experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing or sustainability-related field preferred

Education: Recognised degree in engineering, sustainability, supply chain or management

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Sustainability legislation, reporting, renewable energy, supply chain
  • ERP/ Software implementation experience preferred
  • Strong capabilities to collaborate across the organisation
  • Proven ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions
  • Committed to delivering best practice solutions
  • Commercial acumen, with a proven ability to operate within a fast-paced business environment
  • Highly motivated with excellent initiative, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Detail oriented, flexible with can do attitude
  • Willingness to travel: 10-25% (not guaranteed)
  • Fluent English – written and verbal, additional languages are a plus
