Position Summary:

Pricing plays a pivotal role within EVO/GP as it is key to both our sales success and financial performance. This role, based in the Finance team, will include a mix of detailed analysis and working with large data sets as well as working with, and providing support to, Sales, Marketing and Operations. It will also require liaising with technical teams to optimise price management and periodic changes across our systems. This opportunity would suit someone with very strong analytical skills who is interested in advancing their career through developing commercial and pricing expertise in the fast moving Fintech sector.

Based in central Dublin, with occasional travel to European offices required. The role will be hybrid but initial office attendance is preferable during the onboarding and upskilling phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Large data management including extraction, validation, organisation, analysis and report generation.
  • Supporting business decisions through the identification and interpretation of trends and patterns in complex and/or large data sets.
  • Compiling summary reports and preparing communication material (Powerpoint/Slides) suitable for a broad audience.
  • Development of Excel models and forecasting tools to assess the impact of price and cost changes.
  • Supporting the analysis of card network (Visa/MasterCard) cost changes for Ireland and UK, ensuring appropriate changes are identified and impacts assessed.
  • Maintenance and administration of pricing tools & systems for Sales teams.
  • Liaising with, and supporting Sales, Marketing and Technical teams in the execution of pricing initiatives.
  • Providing expert support to Sales and Operations teams to ensure high quality customer experience in relation to pricing quotation and pricing communication.
  • Other duties as defined relevant to the role as required from time to time.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous pricing experience preferred; particularly in an industry requiring large data analysis (Finance, Telecoms, Utilities).
  • Payment industry experience would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience working with large data sets in a commercial environment.
  • Competent user of Microsoft and/or Google applications; advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
  • Coding experience a key advantage but not mandatory.

  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
  • Highly detail orientated and organised, with a strong focus on consistent accuracy even under tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Performance driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong solution orientation even when dealing with complexity and multiple priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree level qualifications especially in subjects that include complex data analysis: graduates with a strong quantitative background (Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Quantitative Business, Computer Science, Engineering) and an ambition to broaden their business experience are encouraged to apply.
