CAD Technician

My client in Dublin 12 is looking for a CAD Technician to join their office in Park West. You will be collaborating with experienced Engineers across a multi-disciplinary team to offer guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects within the HVAC Data Centre industry.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:


• Collaborating with Engineers to create high quality detailed 3D models based on current and new designs.


• Independently work and manage timescales against project programmes.


• Produce and provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.


• Make changes to existing designs.


• Checking the quality of information collected from Production departments, and the successful transition to deliverables.


• Maintain accurate drawing records.


• Apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check feasibility of manufacture and construction of the product.

What Do You Need?


• Qualification to level 6 Mechanical / Manufacturing in Engineering or have several years' experience.


• Good knowledge in the use of 3D modelling & AutoCAD.


• Experience of working with Inventor is desirable, other 3D software will be considered.


• Keen focus on quality whilst also be able to work at pace within a multi-disciplinary team.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
