As an experienced full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic , you will be repairing predominantly heavy trucks and 4WDs in a clean and modern workshop.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic . This role will include scheduled maintenance and breakdowns as well as major and minor fault finding, repairing and/or replacement.

Our Client is a well-established engineering and fabricating company and a commercial vehicles dealership that provides high-quality products to their clients.

About You

To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications (at least Cert III) or a minimum of 3 years experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • HC License desirable.
  • Experience working on Isuzu, Iveco and heavy commercial vehicles.
  • Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
  • Experience in car carrier trailer repairs is highly advantageous.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Forklift license preferred.
  • Experience in repairing earthmoving equipment.

Excellent salary range between $73,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.
