The SEI Oversight Team is responsible for the oversight of the administration of the SEI UCIT funds and the oversight of another third party fund. The administration of the SEI UCIT funds is outsourced to a third party sub-administrator. The primary role of the Oversight Team Specialist is to monitor the service levels of the sub-administrator and to ensure the funds NAVs and other fund administration activities are performed accurately and in adherence with regulatory, legal and jurisdictional requirements. The Oversight Specialist is a supervisor level.

What you'll do:

  • Approve daily oversight work performed by team Analysts.
  • Supervise staff on systems, processing, procedures and job responsibilities.
  • Mentor team Analysts in line with their development plans. Provide feedback to Managers regarding employees' ongoing performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the team with the sub administrator of the funds and with SIMC (Investment Manager), SIGL (ManCo), Legal and Compliance.
  • Work on establishing an effective oversight environment of the sub- administrator including KPI monitoring, vendor management, and annual due diligence visits.
  • Analyse income distributions and reportable yields.
  • Present quarterly fund statistics to the Oversight Committee.
  • Manage the annual audit and financial statements process involving sub-administrator, other SEI units and Fund's Auditor.
  • Communicate Fund NAV errors to internal teams within SEI and analyse NAV error reports from the sub administrator. Work closely with the sub administrator and the Oversight team on process improvements to avoid specific errors occurring again.
  • Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model.
  • Working closely with the Compliance team on filing returns for the SEI Funds with the Central Bank of Ireland.

What you bring to the Table:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in fund administration.
  • Knowledge of UCITS Funds.
  • Knowledge of Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting and Transfer Agency.
  • Experience in a supervisory role and/or coaching & mentoring staff.
  • Knowledge of Geneva is an advantage.
  • Third level qualification in Finance or Business (Desirable)
  • P.C proficient, particularly in MS Excel.
