Group Financial Accountant

Barden is excited to be working with a key PLC company in the search for a newly qualified accountant to join their team as a Group Financial Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to be part of the top-notch group finance function of a leading company.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Assist in group reporting processes, including monthly management accounts.
  • Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and intercompany reporting.
  • Create monthly reports for the Board and senior management.
  • Drive efficiencies and improvements in current processes.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for the group and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and handle ad hoc projects.

CRUCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified accounting professional with a solid academic background.
  • Ideally from a Big 4 background, familiar with group settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.
  • Capable of independent work and collaboration within a team.
  • Motivated, organized, and adept at meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior management.

The work location is in South Dublin, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
