Our client, an expanding & significant employer in the aviation sector in the Shannon region, have now engaged with us in CPL to help them recruit for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position would be an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified & experienced payroll & accounts professional who is now looking to further develop their career in the mid-west region.

The Job:

You will be a key part of the finance team, report directly to the Financial Controller in Shannon & will cover a broad range of duties primarily focused on payroll but also supporting the wider accounts team. This will include duties such as coordinating the processing of employee payrolls with the external providers, managing payroll data, responding to employee queries in a timely manner, preparing regular payroll reports, analysing discrepancies, assisting with invoice processing & AR queries, bank reconciliations & supporting departmental managers with their needs.

Your Skills/Experience that we need:

  • 3rd level degree qualified ideally.
  • IPASS or a relevant accounts qualification would be an advantage.
  • 3-4+ years' relevant experience in a payroll or accounts focused role.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to interact with colleagues across the business.
  • Strong IT & reporting skills including high level MS Excel knowledge.

The Offer:

This position is being offered as a permanent role with base salary depending on skills/experience but expected to range up to 45-50k approx. In addition there is a strong benefits package including pension, private health cover & significant scope for further career growth & development.

This role will be 5 days office based in Shannon.
