Role: Senior Vice President, Bill Pay Engineering

Transfer Solutions are a key component of our strategy, enabling us to tap into new payment channels within the Mastercard network. These solutions, combined with infrastructure and services, form the core of our approach to target additional payment flows. As the Senior Vice President of Bill Pay Engineering, you will lead the technology transformation across multiple pillars, implementing global solutions tailored to local markets.

As the SVP of Bill Pay Engineering, you will spearhead the modernization of existing platforms, focusing on consolidation, optimization, and deployment enhancements. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, capable of providing guidance to the global team and collaborating with product and technology leaders on a long-term transformation strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and technology teams to develop a comprehensive technology roadmap.

• Drive operational excellence and feature enhancements for current platforms, including incremental improvements.

• Work with HR to implement processes that cultivate and develop tech talent across global locations.

• Align with key teams on strategic priorities and growth objectives.

• Establish strong partnerships at executive levels to ensure cross-functional alignment.

• Champion the adoption of Mastercard Way principles across the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformation projects.

• Deep technical knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservice design, and secure software frameworks.

• Experience deploying applications on public cloud platforms.

• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle best practices.

• Track record of building and developing global engineering teams.

• Ability to collaborate across disciplines to achieve common goals.

• Excellent communication skills to influence decision-making.

• Collaborative leadership style that fosters employee engagement.
