About the CompanyPUNCH Consulting Engineers, one of Ireland's leading Civil Structural Consultancies with offices across Ireland and the UK have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the HR team.The role has presented due to a significant increase in headcount over the last 3 years.The RoleAs aHR Business Partner, you will support both the Director of HR and the HR Manager in delivering a highly effective, agile, and people-focused HR service to employees and the business.You will be involved in a broad range of HR activities, ensuring best practices are implemented to support business growth, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Administration & Operations– Provide day-to-day HR support, including HR systems management, reporting, and compliance.Talent Acquisition & Retention– Assist in sourcing, onboarding, and retaining top talent to support the company's continued growth.Performance Management– Support management in ensuring an effective performance review process, inclusive of probations / mid and annual review processes.Compensation & Benefits– Assist in benchmarking, salary reviews, and benefits administration.Employment Law & Compliance– Provide HR guidance, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance with current employment laws in both Ireland & the UK.HR Systems & Process Improvement– Promote continuous improvement through introduction of innovative ideas/ HR technologies as applicable to drive efficiency and enhance employee experience.Employee Engagement & Wellbeing– Champion initiatives to support a positive and high-performing workplace culture inclusive of EDI and maintaining a strong EVP.Ad Hoc –Assist in preparation of any regulatory /statutory reports(Gender Gap reporting)and support cross company initiatives in particular Marketing in ensuring employer brand is maximised.About YouExperience:Minimum5 years'HR experience in a generalist or HRBP role.Qualification:A recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) or Commerce /Business degree.Employment Law:Competent knowledge of Irish employment law (UK employment law is an advantage).HR Systems & IT:Experience with HRIS, ideally experienced in evaluating & implementation of HRIS or similar HR software, highly proficient in MS office and social media platforms.Performance Management:Experienced in the design and delivery of bespoke management /leadership programmes to support manager effectiveness in ensuring a high-performance culture is maintained.Stakeholder Engagement:Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.Communication:Excellent communication skills both written and verbalProblem-Solving:Proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.Strong Work Ethic:Hardworking with a flexible "roll up sleeves "and can-do attitude.Enjoyment:Engaging, personable and enjoys working in a collaborative and positive work environment.What We OfferA very comprehensive remuneration package including competitive salary and generous annual leave.A culture that embraces Equality, Inclusion and Diversity through its actions.The opportunity to work in a well-established and highly admired Irish Engineering Consultancy synonymous with Quality and Engineering legacies.Exposure to a broad range of HR functions and senior management engagement.An exceptional working environment where values matter .If you are a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for a diverse and engaging role, we'd love to hear from youAn active Sports and Social Club, subsidised by PUNCH, which provides staff with regular work life balance opportunitiesTraining and Continued Professional Development (CPD) which is accredited by Engineers IrelandState-of-the-art networked computing and communications facilities to provide staff with the latest in technology and softwareAn ISO:**** accredited company with BM Trada for our Quality Management SystemAn ISO:***** accredited company with BM Trada for our Environmental Management SystemIn simple terms, at PUNCH it is our aim to:Develop employees to achieve maximum effectiveness in their current roleDevelop a flexible and multi-skilled workforce capable of rapid response to changing business needsDevelop, motivate and retain our employeesProvide skills for future innovations within PUNCHMaximise the knowledge and experience within our organisation and ensure that this knowledge is captured, updated and disseminated effectivelyProvide equal training opportunities for any staff with disabilitiesWe strongly encourage our staff to develop and achieve their career aspirations.We are accredited by Engineers Ireland for their CPD programme and work with our staff to progress through the various levels in the relevant Institutions.#J-*****-Ljbffr
