Zalando is making significant investments into its ratings and review experiences and to achieve this are forming a new dedicated team with a mission to elevate the experience to best in class for our customers, while also achieving significant business impact for the business.
As part of this new team, Zalando is seeking a talented Senior Apps Engineer to work on frontend capabilities required to enable over 50 million customers to gain insights from over 100 million ratings and reviews.
This role requires significant experience in developing for (one or both of) iOS or Android apps, plus experience in React Native and strong collaboration with backend teams and experience with scalable backend architectures, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL would be advantageous.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IFYou are an experienced engineer driven by solving tangible customer problems.
You have a solid understanding of modern Android or iOS development.
Experience with React Native, Redux, and React Navigation is a plus.
You are comfortable with a diverse tech stack and eager to learn new technologies.
You have strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate effectively across teams.
You have experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
You are familiar with monitoring and observability tools for app health and performance.
You are passionate about writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code and take ownership of your work.
You have a proven track record of leading technical discussions and making independent decisions.
You possess excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
You thrive in collaborative environments and can navigate complex domains.
