Our partner, Tool and Gauge, based in Tubbercurry, is seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to begin a career in quality within a hands-on, supportive manufacturing environment.
Tool and Gauge is a leader in injection mould manufacture, precision engineering, and product design, delivering high-quality solutions across multiple industries.
You'll join a skilled and experienced team, where learning and development are central to the role.
Responsibilities (Full training and support provided):
Assist in developing and maintaining quality standards and procedures
Support testing activities and learn to identify issues and improvement areas
Help review materials and technical drawings to ensure product accuracy
Prepare quality documentation and assist in developing/updating SOPs
Learn to apply process control and testing methods within production
Participate in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Assist with inspection and testing of moulded components and review against specifications
Support the tracking and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions
Liaise with the team to monitor and address supplier-related quality issues
Take part in internal and external audit preparations and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Biomedical, or related engineering/science disciplines is a distinct advantage
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Interest in quality, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
