Overview
Job Description
To Participate in the Testing and Quality Assurance of software implementations for new and existing projects.
To Join a Test Team responsible for delivering testing across multiple systems and business processes.
Core responsibilities comprise: -
Test Analysis
Participating in Analysis of Requirements\Design documentation
Creating Test Scenarios\Cases from Requirements\Design documentation
Working with Delivery teams to understand the steps required for Test Execution
Test Execution
Smoke Testing of Test Environments in readiness for Test Execution
Executing Test Scenarios\Cases as per the agreed Test Plan
Raising of Issues\Queries in the Defect Management Tool
Participation in Defect Triage
Re-testing of Defects
Client Support
Ensuring Client Test Environments are available
Supporting the resolution of Client Queries\Issues
Required Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and enthusiastic to learn new methodologies and systems
Strong interpersonal skills
Collaborative approach
Team player
Ability to work on own initiative
General experience in the financial sector, preferably Life and Pensions industry
Previous Experience\Participation in a Testing Phase of a Project
Desirable Skills
Experience with MS Excel, including with Excel formulae
Experience with Databases and SQL
Experience with API Testing Frameworks
Experience with Environment Support
