DescriptionSupermac's is seeking full and part-time restaurant staff for our store in Galway City.Job PurposeThe Catering Assistant ensures top-quality service and cleanliness at Supermac's, Papa John's, SuperSubs, Mac's Deli, Bewley's Barista & Spar.They engage with customers, staff, and management in a friendly, efficient manner, following training and handbook standards.The role aims to provide a welcoming experience across all areas, meeting customer needs and maintaining a clean environment.Flexibility in cooking, serving, and cleaning ensures every customer enjoys a great visit.The JobTreating our customers to warm and friendly service every time they visit the site.Working in all areas to comply with company standards, adhering to safety/quality aspects, thus ensuring consistency every time.Working as part of a team, treating all staff and management respectfully, in all areas as required.Following company guidelines/training in all aspects of food preparation, production, and storage.At all times, portray a professional image, both on and off the premises.Working with the management team to increase the number of customers and the amount of money spent every day in our restaurant.In relation to cash handling, ensure correct procedures are followed as directed by management.Ensuring uniform and personal appearance, complying with company guidelines.Flexibility to work in all areas of the site as requested by the ManagerConstantly putting the customer first, whether first thing in the morning or last thing at night.Handle complaints and incidents effectively, passing them on to the Supervisor/ Manager.Working with the management team to increase the number of customers and the amount of money spent every day in our restaurant.Keep lobby area and customer toilets clean and tidy at all times.Work EnvironmentFast-paced, non-stop environment.At times physically demanding due to business needs, staffing levels, and quality requirements.Teamwork is essential to ensure operations run smoothly across all areas, with clear and consistent communicationWhat You Can ExpectCompetitive rate of paySubsidised Meals on shiftTeam incentivesA flexible working environmentA career, not just a jobA company in growth with a clear vision, amazing culture & great peopleRequirementsDeliver great Customer Service on every shiftFollow all safety guidelines, doing your bit to ensure a clean and safe working environmentHave incredibly high standardsLove to work in a teamFlexibility to work in all areas of the restaurantThe successful candidates will have a good outgoing personality, enjoy dealing with the public, and be fully available to work weekdays and weekends.If this sounds like you and you want to join the Supermac's family, then apply today
