We are looking to recruit a Full-Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at The Clybaun Hotel.Objective of the Role:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the F&B Assistant will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.Key Duties and Responsibilities:· Undertake general waiting & service duties of food & beverage.· Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.· Manage all customer requests in a timely & efficient manner· Up-sell and maximize sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.· Attend training sessions.· Follow cash handling procesures.· Other duties as required.Must be available to work a flexible roster across 7 days including weekdays, evenings & weekendsRequirements:· Previous experience as a F&B Assistant essential.· Previous experience working in a bar is desired but not essential.· Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.· Fluent English and excellent communication skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: €***** per hourAbility to commute/relocate:Knocknacarra, CO.Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Restaurant/Bar: 1 year (preferred)Language:Fluent English (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (preferred)Work Location: In person
