in their work, while supporting and learning from others.The RoleKKR is looking to add a talented Full Stack Staff Engineer to its Technology team.Our agile team is responsible for delivering solutions to aid in driving our world-class team through investment strategy, portfolio management and operations, providing differentiated outcomes to internal and external clients.You'll work on a cloud-native tech stack of micro services leveraging Kubernetes and modern approaches to CI/CD.We primarily use React on the frontend as well as Python on the backend.As a Staff Engineer, you will help further the standard for engineering excellence not only on the team but across the entire organization.ResponsibilitiesWrite and review code, and deploy systems that facilitate our businessParticipate in application design and architecture reviewsEngage in an agile, iterative software development processInspire excellence through strong leadership and coaching/mentorshipCollaborate closely with business, product and engineering stakeholdersBreak down complex problems into simple, creative, and effective solutionsBuild solutions for high availability, observability, and maintainabilityProvide support for all aspects of the part of the platform you ownQualifications7+ years of software engineering experienceAt least 2 years of experience with cloud-based service-oriented architectureBachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (Engineering/Mathematics/Computer Science)Advanced knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (Python) with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data applicationsStrong background in databases and data pipelinesExposure to web programming and related frameworks (e.g. HTML, JS, React); full-stack experience is a strong plusExperience in designing, delivering, and securing data-rich web applicationsInterest in finance, hardworking and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative commercial environmentStrong communication skills for interacting with business stakeholdersAbility to think strategically and act tactically with exceptional attention to detailDemonstrated curiosity, analytical skills, and resourcefulness with a proven track record of ownership and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environmentKKR is
