ATG are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Environmental Consultant to join a growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in environmental consultancy.
You will assist with environmental assessments, site inspections, reporting, and regulatory compliance on a variety of client projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Support environmental impact assessments (EIAs), site investigations, and risk assessments
Conduct desk studies and field surveys (soil, air, water, noise, biodiversity)
Assist in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and client documentation
Participate in environmental monitoring and sampling
Ensure compliance with Irish and EU environmental legislation and standards
Liaise with project managers, clients, and regulators as required
Contribute to sustainability strategies and environmental audits
Maintain accurate records of fieldwork and data analysis
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or related discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Full clean driving license (or willingness to obtain one within 6 months)
