Assistant Store Manager (McDowells Jewellers)Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.Enhancing The Employee Experience at Weir & SonsAt Weir and Sons, we are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the Weir team in one of our other stores - McDowells on O'Connell Street.RoleAs an Assistant Store Manager, you will be a strong leader for your team whilst ensuring the delivery of sales and service standards.Inspiring your team, you will display excellent leadership skills, identifying and nurturing talent to encourage career development and employee satisfaction.Proactive and attentive, you will take ownership of your area, constantly monitoring sales and service results.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the Store Manager.Supervising employees during day-to-day tasks.Providing customer support in escalated situations.Managing the overall workflow.Conduct employee performance reviews.Develop good customer relationships.Address employee and customer concerns.Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.Email and phone correspondence.Liaise between managers, customers, and employees.Provide direction to the team.Monitor spending patterns and budget.Support the team when Department Manager is absent.Decision making.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environmentBe an expert in customer service and be a natural leaderAt least 2 years Jewellery Retail experienceExcellent verbal communication, and the ability to convey important information clearly and effectivelyStrong leadership and initiativeExcellent delegator and mediatorResponsible, goal oriented and organizedConfident, proactive, and willing to take challengesProfessionally presentedBe articulate with an outgoing and friendly personalityBe confident in dealing with high end clients with an ability to read and understand peopleHave initiative and demonstrate an ability to lead others by your examplePrevious jewellery/luxury retail industry experience.Management ExperienceJewellery specific qualifications.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagementIndustriesRetailReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Weir & Sons by 2xDublin, County Dublin, Ireland#J-*****-Ljbffr
