Bar and Restaurant Manager The Deerpark Inn, is a gastro pub with 6 bedrooms in Virginia, County Cavan (1 hr drive from Dublin) and is part of the Virginia Park Lodge estate which is now in its tenth year under the watchful eye of owner and two time Michelin Starred chef, Richard Corrigan. About the role: Virginia Park Lodge are looking for a candidate to manage the day to day operations of our sister site and Gastro Pub of the year, The Deerpark Inn. As Bar and Restaurant Manager you will oversee the day to day operations of the Deerpark Inn, including all food and drink service and coordinate with the GM and housekeeping team in regards to the room operations. You will be expected to be operational and guest facing, ensuring our guests are welcomed and that the pub is ready for its daily operations with team briefings, menu and event management and ensuring the scene is set with music acts and lighting. You will be responsible for and oversee the team, menus, rotas, stock controls, health and safety and the maintenance of the building including any improvements needed. You will report into the General Manager and work closely with the housekeeping, maintenance and sales team and also our wider operations team.
