Vickerstock is currently working in partnership with one of the Irelands most succesful manufacturing firms to assist them with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Engineer.
You will work with some of the most talented individuals in the industry to assist with the lean manufacturing practises across the site.
Your key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer
Lead the day-to-day delivery of the CI process through the site functions.
Be an integral member of a team of multi-skilled stream experts to deliver and exceed targeted KPI's, focussed on a comprehensive fault finding and analysis process.
Support team with root cause identification and solutions designed to prevent repeated failures using lean tools and techniques.
Liaise with department streams through Kaizens, understanding issues and setting plans to resolve.
Carry out technical reviews with PSM & Engineering Lead on core systems and work with suppliers to optimise across site
Update / maintain all asset documentation as required such as machine settings, manuals, PLC back-ups, labelling & PPM schedules resulting from CI works.
Document and train maintenance Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedures arising from CI works.
Apply analytical data techniques to prioritise work in conjunction with the Production Streams.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally you will have.
An industry recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment
Proven problem solving skills.
