Social Media Manager

About Us:We operate two exciting entertainment venues in Galway City.With Galway City Karting and VR World.We're looking for a creative and motivated social media & marketing professional to help us showcase what we offer, grow our online presence, and bring fresh ideas to our marketing.Role Overview:You will manage and create engaging content for our social media profiles (Meta & TikTok), run advertising campaigns, and support both online and offline marketing initiatives.This role is hands-on, including content creation (photo/video), editing, and planning campaigns in advance with our management team.This is a part-time role requiring 1 day per week on-site in Galway (with management and to create content), plus 1 weekend day per month for additional content.Flexibility is needed for events.Key Responsibilities:Manage and grow social media accounts for Galway City Karting and VR WorldCreate engaging posts, reels, stories, and short videos to promote our servicesTake photos and videos on-site, edit them for professional use across platformsDevelop creative concepts and marketing ideas tailored to our audiencePlan, schedule, and manage social media posts and advertising campaigns in advanceDesign online and offline marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers, digital graphics)Monitor campaign performance and provide insights/reports to managementWork closely with the team to align promotions, offers, and events with marketing strategyRequirements:Proven experience managing social media platforms (Meta, TikTok required; others a plus)Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, editing)Experience with social media advertising and analyticsKnowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)Creative thinker with ability to generate new marketing ideasExcellent communication and organisational skillsBased in Galway, with flexibility to attend site once a week and occasional weekendsWhat We Offer:Flexible part-time schedule (approx. 1 day per week + 1 weekend day per month)Opportunity to work in a fun, dynamic entertainment environmentCreative freedom to shape our online presence and marketing campaignsHow to Apply:Please send your CV, a short cover note, and links to social media pages or campaigns you have managed.Include any portfolio samples of photos, videos, or designs you have created.Job Type: Part-timePay: From €***** per hourExpected hours: 8 – 16 per weekBenefits:Employee discountFlexitimeOn-site parkingWork Location: Hybrid remote in Tuam Road, H91PC81, CO.Galway
