Projects: State of the art office development in Dublin - €54m Airport development projects - €18m 200-unit, 3 storey apartment block - €60m 12,000 capacity sports facility €60m Role: The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and technical reports.
Assist in the procurement of site investigations, tender documentation, and contract administration.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget.
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design queries and progress projects.
Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and review their work, supporting their technical development.
Requirements: Min Level 7 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
2 + years experience in civil design, ideally with experience on Irish projects.
Proficiency in Auto CAD 2 D, with a willingness to develop skills in Auto CAD 3 D / BIM (Revit experience desirable).
Knowledge of Micro Drainage, MS Project, and/or GIS software (Arc GIS, Map Info) desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach.
Must be already based in Ireland and available to start without the need for relocation or visa processing.
