Your new role
Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer with 2–5 years’ experience to join their team in Galway. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and ambitious team with excellent career prospects and opportunities. You will assist in the design and delivery of various civil and structural projects for our private and public clients. You will be involved at various project stages, from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation and construction administration.

The work will be primarily office based. Under the supervision of Senior Engineers, you will assist in the preparation of high quality engineering design drawings for a broad range of engineering projects. Attend design meetings and submit planning documentation. All work will be carried out in accordance with the company's ISO procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline. 2–5 years' experience in a design office, preparing outlines and detailed designs. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit and 3D Civils is highly desired. A detailed knowledge of the codes of practice. A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios. Proven client liaison and verbal and written communication skills. A successful track record working closely in partnership with clients and contractors. A full licence and transport is required for occasional site visits.
