Experienced Parts Advisor

Mercedes-Benz Cork, a principal dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland and Cork's exclusive Mercedes-Benz dealership, is currently seeking an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our esteemed team.We are a sister company of MDL (Motor Distributors Limited) which are the importers for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland.Our dealership, located in East Gate Business Park, Little Island, County Cork, operates a Sales, Service, Repair and Parts facility dedicated to Mercedes-Benz.As part of the MSL Motor Group a family-owned business which has been in operation since ****.We are a sister company of MDL (Motor Distributors Limited) which are the importers for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland.We have an esteemed reputation for meeting and exceeding the highest level of standards within the Mercedes-Benz brand.We have a team of over 250 employees which stay with the company thanks to the positive working environment, the continuous development, the opportunities for progression and the competitive remuneration packages delivered.We are currently seeking an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our team.What We Offer:A competitive salary with performance-related incentives.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and inclusive work environment.Car purchase scheme & employee discount.22 days annual leave increasing to 25 after 5 years.Offsite car parking.PRSA company contributions.Health & Wellbeing Initiatives – VHI Employee Assistance Programme, Flu Vaccines, Eye Tests, Cycle to Work Scheme.Main duties and responsibilities to include:Identify the correct parts required for trade, retail and workshop customers.Efficiently manage all telephone, email and online enquiries.Work as part of a team to achieve company and departmental targets.Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are achieved within the parts department.Communicate and build a rapport with the other departments.Maintain and build the customer database through telephone calls and planned visits.Process parts orders through the various software systems and DMS.Create and complete parts returns to each of the distributors.Check off deliveries and input the information on the DMS.Follow the outlined structures to assist with inventory levels.Provide parts delivery cover if requiredRequired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:Have relevant experience in a similar parts position.Have an understanding of Mercedes-Benz parts and their function.Demonstrate a proven ability to work to high standards.Display a desire to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Have strong IT skills including operating systems, Microsoft etc.Knowledge of Keyloop an advantage but not essentialPossess strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.Work well under pressure.Be a team player.Hold a full, valid and current drivers licence.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in being considered for this position, please submit a cover letter outlining your availability and salary expectation, together with a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In person
