Workshop ControllerAbout Us:At Lough Owel Motors Peugeot, we're more than just a dealership — we're a friendly, local team committed to delivering top-quality service with a personal touch.Based in Mullingar, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both our customers and our staff.As our business grows, we're looking for a Workshop Controller to join our close-knit aftersales team.Role OverviewAs a Workshop Controller, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency across all vehicle servicing and repair tasks.You'll play a key role in maintaining workshop productivity, mentoring junior staff, and upholding our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.Ideally, you will be a fully qualified motor technician / master tech with previous experience in managing in a busy workshop environment.If you're a great communicator, enjoy working with people, and like being part of a team where everyone enjoys coming to work, this role is for you.Role Responsibilitiess Supervise day-to-day activity in the workshops Allocate jobs and manage workflow efficiently with the Service Advisors Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing as neededs Manage all warranty claims in an timely, efficient and compliant manners Ensure all work meets health, safety, and quality standardss Support and mentor technicians and apprenticess Communicate effectively with service advisor and managements Achieve budget goals in relation to labour Sales and Productivitys Maintain service records and ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standardss Any other tasks that may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basisKey Requirementss Fully qualified Vehicle Technicians Previous experience in a busy workshop environments Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills across a wide range of vehicless Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirables Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skillss Full Irish/EU driving licences Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments A team player with a can-do attitudes A genuine passion for delivering top-level customer serviceWhat We Offera A friendly and inclusive team environmenta Competitive salary (based on experience)a Ongoing manufacturer and in-house traininga A workplace where you're appreciated, supported and encouraged to growJob Type: Full-timePay: From €32,****** per yearBenefits:Company eventsEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingStore discountWork Location: In person
