Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Preferred qualifications:
10 years of experience with legal, regulatory or corporate compliance, including strategically addressing, minimizing and avoiding regulatory risk.
Experience developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
Experience working with technology companies and ability to understand complex technical issues.
Experience working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees.
Experience managing projects and partnering with cross-functional teams, including strong attention to detail, time management and investigative skills.

Responsibilities
Analyse and Interpret laws and other compliance obligations into requirements for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
Collaborate across the company to support, advise, coordinate legal strategy and find solutions.
Manage government and regulator discussions, agreements, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
