A new and exciting opportunity is available in the Cork/West Cork area for a Field Service Engineer.

Role
Servicing and commissioning Fire Alarm protection equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
Testing system and analysing any failures.
Consulting with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
Advising management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and support during field visits or when on call
Build positive relationships with customers and represent Allied Fire in a professional and trusted manner, ensuring company vehicle, uniform and paperwork promote professionalism
Manage all on-site service, maintenance and test tasks as required to relevant standards
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions
Carry out preventative maintenance and make recommendations based on the age of systems/equipment
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Cooperate with technical field teams and share information across the company
Understand and anticipate customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Provide feedback to management regarding customer requests, satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements
Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures and safe working practices
Advise and report on change requests for documented processes
Person Spec
Desirable: proven experience in the Fire Alarm Industry
Experience in working with electronic/electrical systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive 'Can Do' attitude
Comfortable climbing ladders and carrying equipment
Field service experience desirable
English speaking
Proficient in MS Office and/or other software programmes
Familiarity with mobile tools/apps
Full clean driving licence
