We wish to recruit an experienced
Bid Executive
to join our Bid team.
This is a project management role, and you will be involved in every stage of the bid process, working closely with the MHC partners and associates to produce high quality bids and tenders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid professional to develop their career in a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and reviewing eTender notifications.
Recognising potential opportunities and summarising same for partners.
Managing all aspects of each bid which is assigned to you: Understanding the requirements of the RFT and noting the key dates; Production of the first draft of the tender document; Identifying relevant information for inclusion in the draft; Working with the partners and associates to bring the document through to conclusion; Final checks to ensure that all requirements of the RFT are met.
Submission of the bids on time and in the manner/format in which they are requested.
Keeping up to date records of all bids, historical information, rates, panel appointments, etc.
Managing your own workload and keeping on top of all administrative duties and projects which may be assigned to you.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Bid / Tender role within a law or professional services environment.
Experience with and a strong understanding of the bids process is a requirement.
Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills are a requirement.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
An ability to work on own initiative is key.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
