This job is with Avery Dennison, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE: AVY)is a global materials science and digital identification solutions company.We are Making Possible products and solutions that help advance the industries we serve, providing branding and information solutions that optimize labor and supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, advance sustainability, circularity and transparency, and better connect brands and consumers.We design and develop labeling and functional materials, radio frequency identification (RFID) inlays and tags, software applications that connect the physical and digital, and offerings that enhance branded packaging and carry or display information that improves the customer experience.Serving industries worldwide — including home and personal care, apparel, general retail, e-commerce, logistics, food and grocery, pharmaceuticals and automotive — we employ approximately 35,000 employees in more than 50 countries.Our reported sales in **** were $8.8 billion.Learn moreAvery Dennison is an equal opportunity employerPlease let us know if we can support you with reasonable accommodationsthroughout the application process by contacting our teamThe Quality Documentation Control Specialist will maintainprocedures related to the document control activities within quality systems to ensure compliance with:-cGMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, MDR and ISO ***** requirements.Your ImpactEnsuring site compliance with operating standards and regulatory requirements specifically for Documentation practicesProvide guidance and training to Document Control or Records Management and user departments in proper use of the document/record management systemsManage and Maintain electronic quality change control systemManage and maintain doc control and record retention activatesControl of changes to documented proceduresCoordinate review and revision of controlled documents,Develop and oversee the creation of tools, resources and programs to improve document/record quality and promote good writingSupport and maintain job codes for each employee's training requirements and recordsBalance both daily tasks and a project-based workload and may oversee related activities and the work of project contributorsServe as System Administrator for doc control and learning management systemsEnsuring that Quality data and documentation is complete and maintained robustly and available for internal and external inspection;Provide training and support to change control system usersServe as an internal auditor, conduct audit of Quality areasCollaborate with management to continuously assess and adjust programs and processes.Prepare metric reports for management.May coordinate document/record requests and stage documents for presentation during regulatory inspections.May oversee and/or lead investigation activities and manage compliance items for department.May review/approve changes in accordance with SOPsMay lead projects.May oversee the revision of documents for proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, presentation, etc., and to improve clarity, syntax, logic, flow, organization, etc.Any other improvement projects and jobs assigned by the Quality Manager.Qualifications3rd level qualification in a scientific or technical discipline desirable or work experience equivalent;At least 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Systems and Documentation or equivalent;Good interpersonal skills and acts with integrity;Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite, Doc Control, ERP working knowledge).Rigorous attention to detail.Strong organizational and communication skills.Quality Systems Audits and documentation experience preferredcGMP environment experience preferred.Additional InformationThis is a maternity cover for min. 12 months period.
