Due to continued growth and expansion in our Environment & Planning Team, TOBIN has an exciting role for a Graduate CAD Technician to join us in our Sligo Office.
However, depending on experience, we are open to considering candidates in Dublin, Galway, Limerick or Castlebar.
This is a permanent role and offers the successful candidate long-term opportunities for career development in the areas of drafting, 3D modelling and Design.
This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a consultancy environment, with long-term development inCAD drafting,3D modelling, anddesign support.
Duties and Responsibilities Production of detailed drawings using AutoCADProduction of 2D layouts and plans in accordance with planning guidelines.Support topographical surveys and assist with processing survey dataChecks drawing versus the project inputs for correctness and conformance to standardsWork closely with clients and the Design Team to deliver projects to a high standardDisciplined record keeping and maintenance of drawings and filesAssist with project tasks in the office (including the printing and collation of planning application drawings and documents) and site work, as required.Skills And Experience Software skills to include AutoCAD 2/3D proficiencyUp to 1 year of relevant experience (internships, placements, or part-time roles welcome)GIS experience would be considered an advantage.Strong interpersonal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail.Strong written and verbal (English) communicationYou will be versatile, a good team player, and committed to providing the highest
level of service at all times.Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure when
required to achieve deadlinesAssist with project tasks in the office (including the printing and collation of planning application drawings and documents) and site work, as required.Qualifications We welcome applicants with a variety of educational backgrounds, including:
Degree, diploma, or relevant certification in CAD, civil/structural engineering, geomatics, or a related fieldOther technical qualifications will also be consideredMembership of a recognised engineering or technical body is an advantage but not essentialPlease forward your C.V. to ******
