IT Security Officer
role at

This is a full-time, permanent role based in FBD House, Bluebell.
The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Responsibilities
Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
Identify and define system security requirements
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
Be an active participant in Security Incident management, both participating and chairing meetings to address actual and potential issues
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
Assist with Security awareness, including giving training, developing material and presenting at town halls and to senior management
Reporting to senior management, risk control registers, external and internal audits
Qualifications
CISSP or CISM certification and other security qualifications
Qualifications in Azure/O365 and any other security-related qualifications
Experience
Minimum 5+ years work experience
Proven work experience as a Security Engineer or Information Security Architect
Detailed Azure/O365 security knowledge/qualifications/operational practice
Experience with email security tools, data classification implementations along with DLP technology
Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, SOA) and related network/web protocols
Experience in building and maintaining security systems
Good technical knowledge of database and operating system security
Experience of scripting in a Windows environment is an advantage
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
Knowledge of PCI requirements and/or EIOPA Regulations, DORA regulations
Experience working in a regulated company
Familiarity with environments using 3rd party suppliers to host/manage infrastructure
Knowledge of security frameworks e.g. ISO27001, Cobit
Competencies
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good negotiation skills, self-motivated, results-focused, ability to drive results while being a team player
People management ability and ability to present to C-suite
Note:
This role sits within the Manager/Specialist pay grade in the IT department.
