Overview

Security Officer - Dublin City Centre / Blackrock

Securitas Security Services are recruiting Security Officers based in Dublin City Centre with occasional cover in Blackrock. Pay rate: €15.41 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all required training for the site.
  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties defined in the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
  • Proactively refer to and review the AI's, stay aware of changes, and suggest improvements to enhance service.
  • Monitor CCTV system where required.
  • Identify and immediately report Health & Safety hazards on the client location.
  • Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
  • Use initiative and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
  • Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident for incident report purposes.
Security Officer Specification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent personal appearance
  • Methodical, organized approach to work
  • Good computer skills
  • Own transport desirable
  • Team player; able to work unsupervised
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Understanding of customer service
  • Flexible approach to work
  • PSA Licence is essential
