Overview
Security Officer - Dublin City Centre / Blackrock
Securitas Security Services are recruiting Security Officers based in Dublin City Centre with occasional cover in Blackrock.
Pay rate: €15.41 per hour.
Responsibilities
Fully and satisfactorily complete all required training for the site.
Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties defined in the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
Proactively refer to and review the AI's, stay aware of changes, and suggest improvements to enhance service.
Monitor CCTV system where required.
Identify and immediately report Health & Safety hazards on the client location.
Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
Use initiative and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident for incident report purposes.
Security Officer Specification
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent personal appearance
Methodical, organized approach to work
Good computer skills
Own transport desirable
Team player; able to work unsupervised
Excellent timekeeping
Understanding of customer service
Flexible approach to work
PSA Licence is essential
