Overview
Security Officer - Dublin City Centre / Blackrock.
Securitas Security Services are recruiting Security Officers to be based in Dublin City Centre with occasional cover required in Blackrock.
Pay rate for this position is €15.41 per hour.
Responsibilities
Prevent loss, waste, damage or inconvenience to the client or its customers.
Fully and satisfactorily complete all required site training and tasks defined within published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
Proactively review Assignment Instructions and suggest changes to improve service where appropriate.
Monitor CCTV where required and stay alert to health and safety hazards or potential hazards on the client location.
Report threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
Use initiative and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
Complete accurate notebook entries after incidents for use in Incident Reports.
Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent personal appearance and a methodical, organised approach to work.
Good computer skills.
PSA Licence is essential.
Own transport desirable.
Team player; able to work unsupervised; excellent timekeeping; understanding of customer service; flexible approach to work.
