Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each child.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
Provide training and support to parents and caregivers to facilitate the child's communication development.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall care plan for each child.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Current registration with
CORU
Significant experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with a focus on paediatrics.
Strong knowledge of paediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the service.
Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
