Job Title: General Manager - Contract Catering Location: Cork Salary: €55,000 per annum The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the Contract Catering industry to recruit a General Manager for a key site in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven hospitality professional to oversee operations across two cafés and one retail outlet within a busy hospital environment. As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all catering and retail operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and compliance. You will lead a team of approximately 25 staff, fostering a positive and performance-driven culture while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Duties & Responsibilities Oversee all daily operations across cafés and retail units within the hospital. Lead, train, and motivate a team of 25 staff to deliver exceptional service standards. Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure contract standards are consistently met. Drive customer satisfaction through operational excellence and innovation. Implement company policies, procedures, and initiatives effectively on site. Identify opportunities for business growth and process improvement. Requirements Previous experience in a General Manager, Catering Manager, or Multi-site Manager role within contract catering, hospitality, or retail. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Proven financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance management. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong client relationship and stakeholder management experience. A proactive and hands-on management approach. Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland. Visa or relocation packages are not provided.
