Health region HSE Dublin and North East County Louth Location Louth County Hospital Recruiter HSE Dublin and North East: North Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, and Monaghan Contract type Permanent Wholetime Post specific related information The appointee will work as part of a team who decontaminate and sterilise surgical instrument sets and flexible endoscopes (Reusable Invasive Medical Devices-RIMD) contributing to the clinical care of the patient.
To carry out the collection and delivery, receipt, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, packing and disinfection and or sterilization of reusable medical devices and supporting duties.
Record all tasks using the tracking and tracing systems within the department.
Work in accordance with the Department's Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems.
Work closely with the CSSD team and complete necessary training to provide cover as required by manager.
The role involves exposure to blood and body fluids A panel may be formed upon completion of this campaign for full time/part time, permanent/temporary posts in Louth County Hospital.
