Brand Manager Uki – Specific Purpose Contract

Role Overview:This is a specific purpose contract for approximately six months to cover maternity leave.This is a key role in an exciting and rapidly growing FMCG company, where the consumer is at the heart of our marketing strategy and activities.As the Brand Manager for UKI, you will oversee marketing activities for the brand portfolio across the UK and Ireland.Based out of our Irish head office, you will be responsible for building a leading position for WaterWipes in the UK and Ireland region, while also contributing to WaterWipes' positioning and ambitions as a global brand.You will be a key member of the UKI team, working closely with the Brand Acceleration Manager and the wider multi-functional team to develop and deliver key campaigns and global innovation streams.The ideal candidate will be passionate, collaborative, consistent in performance, and fully committed to our brand vision and exciting brand journey.Key DutiesBuilding the marketing plan for UKI and executing it across our paid, owned and earned channels, our partnerships, and all relevant brand touchpointsResponsibility for adherence to brand archetype, driving consistency in all communicationsWorking closely with shopper marketing team to support and collaborate around key brand activationsMonitor and control the marketing budget with recommendations on phasing, spending & budget allocationOwning stakeholder relationships as you manage multi-functional local and global teams, distributors, and agency partnersExecuting innovation launches to the region, working with portfolio, commercial and cross-functional colleaguesSetting clear activity objectives and KPIs, monitoring and evaluating activities, measuring ROI and making clear recommendations- optimising future activityDemonstrate leadership skills as you drive multiple campaigns and collaborate on projects, providing clear guidance to stakeholders on all brand communication.Driving our Global Marketing objectives by shaping them in UKI to enhance and add value to our growth and positioning in the regionStaying on top of category and market trends and sharing relevant ideas and recommendations with the wider teamKey requirements:You should demonstrate a clear ability to work cross-functionally, always with the consumer placed front and centre.You should demonstrate a structured working approach, driven by data & insights, being analytical and with attention to detail.The ability to work in a fast-paced, very ambitious and dynamic organization is essential.A proven track record in developing brands in an FMCG/CPG business environmentUniversity Degree in business, marketing or related discipline with minimum 7 years of experience in a marketing functionExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong commercial acumenProven campaign delivery and success against KPIsStakeholder Management is key, and agency management experience is essentialVersatile, self-motivated and results drivenStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationshipsBudget management experienceFluency (spoken and written) in English is mandatoryWhy work for us?'The WaterWipes Way' is underpinned by our Values of:Bravery,Excellence &RespectWe look for individuals who will drive acceptable actions and behaviours that will reflect our vision and values.WaterWipes offers all the benefits of an established global brand, along with the exciting possibilities of an organisation that lives and breathes change.There are so many reasons to join us on our ambitious journey to becoming an iconic global brand.Check out our careers page to find out more
