Healthy County Coordinator -****DescriptionGeneral Information:Completed Application Forms must be submitted no later than 4pm on the closing date as indicated on the advertisement.After submitting your completed application, please be sure to check your'Spam/Junk'mail for an acknowledgement email.Electronic applications will be acknowledged automatically.Please keep this acknowledgement as proof of delivery of your application.If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please contact the HR Department.Do not forward any certificates, references or CVs with this form.Applicants may be shortlisted from their application forms.Please ensure that information given is sufficiently comprehensive and within the word limit outlined.The onus is on candidates to establish eligibility in this application form.Before you submit the form, please ensure that you have reviewed and completed all sections – this can be done by saving your application before submittingCanvassing will automatically disqualify.Any employment offered is dependent on the information given being true.False or misleading information or deliberate omissions may result in termination of employment.All documents relating to this competition will be retained on file for a period of 2 years following the expiry of the panel formed.Late applications will not be accepted.Phone queries can be made toHuman Resources Section on or, Email-Please ensure that you have certified copies of all qualifications, as indicated on this application form, available for inspection if requested.Please refer to Candidate Information Booklet for further information.EligibilityKildare County is seeking to establish a panel of Healthy Ireland Coordinator to fill permanent posts that arise during the life of the panel.Education/Experience, Etc.:Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:A third-level degree (NFQ Level 8 or higher) in a relevant field such as community/sports development, youth work, social sciences, public health, social policy, public administration, planning, or related discipline.A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in any of the following:Local government, public sector, or similar roles involving strategic planning, project coordination, or community engagement.Work with disadvantaged communities or target populations to address social exclusion or inequality.Cross-sectoral coordination or partnership development.Policy development, research, or evaluation related to the determinants of health.Operating effectively within political, community and policy-making environments, demonstrating ability to work across boundaries of role, sector and geography.Project management and delivery, budgeting and performance-monitoring experience.Non-Irish Qualifications must be accompanied by a determination from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) to establish their comparability against the Irish National Framework of Qualifications, overseas qualifications must also be accompanied by a translation document.PLEASE SEE CANDIDATE INFORMATION BOOKLET FOR ALL DETAILS ABOUT THIS JOB.Driving LicenceApplicants should at the date of applying hold a full valid Irish /EU licence, for Class B vehicles.
