About MMTMMT (Medical Manufacturing Technologies) is a global leader in medical device manufacturing solutions.MMT Automation specializes in designing and building bespoke, reliable, complete solutions which automate highly complex production processes.Through deep client collaboration we support customers on the automation journey as they transition to smart methods of manufacturing that ultimately drive productivity and business efficiencies.We provide end-to-end automation and integration solutions to the medical device industry.Overview of role:Become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementationMachine control system software design, development & commissioningA great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applicationsMain Tasks:Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, VisionDevelop, test, commission & support machine control softwareDesign of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients' standardsInterpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)Specification of control system componentsCollaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycleExperience:3yrs+ experience in Equipment AutomationPLC & HMI experience desirable, preferably with Allen BradleyKnowledge of automated machine design, specification & developmentAbility to create technical documentationFamiliarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantageRequirements:Excellent communication skillsProactive and energetic approachStrong organisational skillsA quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitudeNeeds to work well in a multifunctional teamDriving Licence and ability to travelReporting to:Engineering Manager (Controls)
