About MMTMMT (Medical Manufacturing Technologies) is a global leader of medical device manufacturing solutions.MMT Automation specialize in designing and building bespoke, reliable, complete solutions which automate highly complex production processes.Through deep client collaboration they support customers on the automation journey as they transition to smart methods of manufacturing that ultimately drive productivity and business efficiencies.We provide end-to-end automation and integration solutions to the medical device industry.Overview of role:Become part of a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementationMachine control system software design, development & commissioningIndividual contributor role – expert in programming of automated machinesA great opportunity to work on the design of high-tech engineering applicationsMain Tasks:· Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision· Develop, test, commission & support machine control software· Support our Technical Writer in creating validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)· Specification of control system components· Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle· Provide technical direction & support to other controls team membersExperience:· 10yrs+ of experince in Equipment Automation - PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley· Expert knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development· Proven experience with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics etc.Requirements:· Excellent communication skills· Proactive and energetic approach· Strong organisational skills· A quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude· Needs to work well in a multifunctional team· Driving Licence and ability to travel (infrequent)
