Launch Your Science Career with CLS – Exciting Opportunities to become a QC AnalystCLS is experiencing an exciting period of rapid growth and innovation, and we are looking for passionate, driven graduates to join us on this journey.If you have a degree in Microbiology, or a related field and are eager to start your career in science, this is your opportunityWe offer hands-on training in our commercial labs, mentorship, and a dynamic work environment to help you develop the skills needed to become a successful QC Analyst.Be part of a team where science, quality, and innovation come together to create meaningful impact in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.This graduate opportunity is a full time permanent role from your first day of trainingFounded in ****, Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) is the highest accredited contract laboratory in Ireland, providing industry-leading sampling, analysis and fully trained micro and analytical analysts on contract to clients in the food, environmental, medical device, biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical sectors.Job Title: QC Microbiology AnalystLocation: Training takes place in Galway followed by relocation to our client sites where you will gain real life industry experience in the fieldTraining is provided on the following:GMP training on all aspects of a Laboratory Quality System including: Gowning, Laboratory Safety, completion of records/correction of errors, deviations, out of specification results, calibration, reference standards, recording of quality data as per GMP.Water Testing as per USP, EP - Surface Water, Potable Water, Water for injection.Preservative Efficacy Testing of Pharmaceutical Products.Use of LIMS system for logging of samples.Environmental Monitoring of Cleanrooms.Microbial Limit Testing of Products and Active Ingredients (Sterile and Non – Sterile – TAMC, TYMC, Absence of Specific Organisms)Bioburden Testing on Medical Devices.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbility to work independently and meet set timelines.A strong team player who is both flexible and adaptable.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.Must be motivated, focused and technically strong.GMP knowledge and understandingUse of LIMS system for logging of samples.Carry out laboratory testing to the highest standards.Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Maintain laboratory cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.Qualifications:A 3rd level qualification in Science or equivalent field.Attention to detail and accuracy is essential .Good time management.Knowledge of laboratory techniques.Excellent communication skills.The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organisationWhat We Can Offer You:Competitive salary.Opportunities for professional development and growth within a dynamic and rapidly expanding industry.Joining a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to excellence in service delivery.Diversity and inclusion are essential to our mission and achieving our vision at CLS.The diversity we foster is one of our greatest strengths in delivering excellence through collaboration, respect, quality and integrity without compromise.CLS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
