Responsibilities: Be responsible for managing their own caseload as assigned to the TA by the senior PT/OT/SLT/Dietician. Ensure the patient is medically stable to receive intervention as prescribed to maintain/progress current function. Report any concerns to the treating therapist re: suitability of assigned patient e.g. deterioration of patient. Requirements: Previous experience in a therapy assistant role is preferred. Knowledge of SLT, OT, and Physiotherapy practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach. Relevant certifications or training in SLT, OT, or Physiotherapy assistance are advantageous. Full driving license and access to own car is desirable. Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction. All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
