Tax Director – LimerickOur client, a leading professional services firm with offices nationwide, now has an opening for a Tax Director or Senior Tax Manager with a minimum of 5 years' practice experience to join their growing team based in their Limerick office.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic & progressive firm who work across a broad range of taxes.The Role:As a growing & progressive firm, they continue to expand their Taxation Team in Limerick and now require a Tax Director or Senior Tax Manager to join their team where you will work closely with partners and senior management while having responsibility for the management of the Taxation team.You will have the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of indigenous owner-managed and internationally owned businesses from a range of industries (technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, retail, transport), many of which have an international focus.This position will suit an ambitious individual with experience in the provision of practical and innovative tax-based business solutions providing a mix of advisory and compliance services.The successful candidate will ideally be CTA qualified and a qualified accountant with a strong practice background currently working at Senior Tax Manager or Director level.Key Responsibilities:Managing the team in maintaining and developing the firm's relationship with a portfolio of clients including coordination of service offerings from other departments.Ensuring that the payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of clients across all tax heads.Working with the Partners on advising clients on potential structures suitable for their business, M&A and succession planning opportunities.Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory projects.Contributing towards collective (departmental) targets for billing, net fee income and cash collection as well as personal and firm-wide goals.Involvement in business development and marketing initiatives at firm, department and team levels.Ideal Candidate:CTA qualified and a qualified accountant.Strong Practice background with previous experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary and case law.Experience of working in corporation tax compliance including on larger corporates and on tax consultancy assignments.Experience of managing client relationships and projects to completion.Comfortable training, supervising and delegating to staff.Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture positive working relationships with co-workers and clients.Excellent organisational and planning capabilities.Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure.Excellent computer-literacy skills in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Offer:Excellent salary and remuneration package commensurate with level and experience.Hybrid and flexible working options.Benefits include Pension, Bonus, a generous annual leave allowance and other additional benefits etc.Excellent career progression opportunities with a clear career path on offer.You will be joining a firm who empower and develop their teams to become professionals of the highest calibre in technical and client excellence.You will be given the autonomy to perform your role in a supportive work environment which promotes belonging and inclusivity of all cultures and perspectives.#J-*****-Ljbffr
