The Children and Young People's Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families.
This post is being recruited for the Children's Disability Network Team: Blakestown.
The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs.
The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model.
Avista has 3 Children and Young People Disability Network Teams and the candidate may be required to work across any these 3 teams if and when the need arises.
Responsibilities
Work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provides services to 0-18 year old children and young people with complex needs.
Provide residential, family support and education services in a family-centred model.
Be flexible to work across Avista's 3 Children and Young People Disability Network Teams (Blakestown and other locations) as required.
Qualifications
A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Occupational Therapy qualification.
Up to date CORU registration.
At least 3 years post qualification experience.
Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
Full Clean Driving licence and use of a car.
