Job Requirements:
Detailed knowledge of HVAC techniques, materials, and equipment is essential.
Completed apprenticeship in refrigeration and air conditioning.
Full clean driving license.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Experience supervising or overseeing work.
The ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
Excellent practical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, as you'll be dealing with customers regularly.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A meticulous approach to work.
Knowledge of industry safety standards, gas regulations, and legal guidelines.
Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience.
Plumbing experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Installation and/or maintenance of HVAC systems.
Service call-out and repair work on HVAC kits.
Locating faults in systems and equipment and repairing issues.
Working on various air conditioning systems, mainly Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin.
Responding to emergency customer calls for repairs such as leaks and other problems.
