OverviewJoin to apply for theSenior Architectural Technologistrole atArdmac.We are an award-winning international construction specialist that delivers complex high-value workspaces and technical environments.We've been leading the way for over 40 years and employ the brightest minds and the most advanced technologies.Our mission is to consistently provide the ultimate solution for high-value working environments through our continuous investment into the best people, technology, and processes.About The JobHere at Ardmac we pride ourselves on being the contractor of choice for great clients and the workplace of choice for great people.We are currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead a team of Technologists across multiple projects.This role is critical in ensuring Ardmac design solutions are of the highest quality, delivered on schedule, and within budget.The Senior Architectural Technologist will take responsibility for the production, supervision, and delivery of design solutions, as well as ensuring a smooth handover of design packages to the construction team.Role ResponsibilitiesReview project specifications and scope and agree deliverablesManage project design budgets and programmes using last planner and other planning toolsEnsure all designs comply with regulations and standardsReport output and productivity against agreed targetsMentor assigned resources to support their professional developmentGenerate and manage technical aspects of subcontractor packagesOversee product selection, detailing, and material interfacingRaise and respond to design stage RFIs and COVIsEnsure compliance with the Health and Safety Plan design criteriaIdentify long-lead materials to assist procurementAttend site meetings as requiredAssist with tender proposal preparationProtect the company's contractual position at design stage, including correspondence with the Design Team and subcontractorsPromote and protect Ardmac's image and interestsQualificationsQualifications and ExperienceBSc.in Architectural TechnologyExperience And SkillsProficiency in BIM – Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCADStrong knowledge of Building Regulations and Design Standards, including BCARExperience in technical detailing and material specificationUnderstanding of drawing symbols and standardsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to deliver technical innovation and value creationWhat we offerThere are many benefits to working with Ardmac, including a competitive salary, generous time off, a Christmas savings programme, and much more.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionDesign, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustries: ConstructionWe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.Experts add insights directly into each article, started with the help of AI.#J-*****-Ljbffr
