Job Description We are currently recruiting an Educator for our Afterschool service in Woodford, Co. Galway, caring for children from 4 to 12 years of age.

Requirements: Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent as listed on the DCEDIY Early Years Recognised Qualification List or a letter from DCEDIY. Minimum 1 year experience in the Childcare Sector (Work Placement/Practice unaccounted). Comprehensive knowledge of Child Protection and/or willingness to become certified in "Children's First" programme. Excellent knowledge of the Aistear curriculum framework. First Aid certified. Passionate, positive role model, and supportive team member. Responsibilities: Implement developmentally appropriate after-school programmes for children. Ensure high standards of care and guidance. Support and supervise early year educators. Prioritize health, safety, and welfare of children. Maintain a safe, organized, and culturally sensitive environment. Communicate with parents and community members. Induct new staff and maintain program administration. Perform other related duties as required. Additional Details: Part-time, seasonal hours. On-site parking, employee discount, holiday bonuses (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, summer). Schedule: Minimum 15 hours/week, Monday – Friday (38 weeks/year), no weekends.
