Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Communications Manager within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine /Veterinary Hospital . As the only Veterinary School on the island of Ireland, the School values the diversity and complexity of its teaching, research and service activities and as such considers effective communications as a key priority of the School. The Communications Manager is a challenging and exciting role, which plays a key part in the development and management of the School's communications plan and strategy and has responsibility for building relationships and fostering stakeholder engagement across the UCD Veterinary Community. The communications function is highly visible and strategically important and involves the setting of priorities, the meeting of deadlines and requires an extensive measure of initiative and responsibility to meet strategic objectives. The Communications Manager will provide expert input with regard to developing and operating communications projects and initiatives, as well as ensuring the quality of communications outputs to our community. 95 Admin Off Ia_2013 (2010) Salary Scale: €69,226 - €80,894 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 16th of January 2025.
