OverviewA leading Irish provider of accountancy and advisory services is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join their growing Galway team.This role offers strong career progression and the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and complete client files and financial statements (from start to finish) to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within budget and deadlines.Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors.Draft financial reports and present results of engagements to the engagement manager.Supervise and train junior staff, providing technical guidance and leadership on client assignments.Identify and address areas of non-compliance with accounting standards.Contribute to statutory accounting, compliance, and related services across a wide client base.Engage in client relationship management, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.Support continuous team development through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.Some travel may be required, depending on client assignments.RequirementsQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with 1–2 years' post-qualification experience.Background in practice, with an interest in broadening skills and taking on new challenges.Strong business acumen and ability to act as an effective advisor to clients.Proven experience in preparing Irish income tax and related returns.Skilled in report writing and presenting to senior management.Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork capability, and ability to work independently.Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with experience delivering under pressure.Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary package €55,000 – €65,000Hybrid working options.Strong emphasis on work-life balance.Career development and progression opportunities.Comprehensive in-house training and CPD support.Access to first-class IT and analytical tools.Excellent internal support services.Mentoring, continual assessment, and feedback.Travel saver ticket options.Educational courses and further training support.Company events and networking opportunities.Connection to a global professional network spanning over 110 countries.How to applyIf you're a Recently Qualified Accountant ready for a new challenge, send your CV to Katie Garvey at ****** for a confidential discussion.GPC Finance does not send your CV without your permission.We have a number of roles that may suit your experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
