About us:Xpress Health is a leading healthcare recruitment agency in Ireland.We are seeking qualified and experienced Healthcare Professionals to join our team in various location across Ireland.About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experiencedSpecialist General Practitioner (GP)to join our practice/healthcare team in Ireland.The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care to individuals and families, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care consultations for patients across all age groups.Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.Prescribe medications and treatments in line with best clinical practice.Perform minor procedures and clinical investigations where appropriate.Deliver preventive healthcare, health promotion, and patient education.Refer patients to secondary care and other specialists when necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in line with practice and HSE guidelines.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and allied health professionals.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to practice policies.RequirementsMedical Qualification:MBBS/MBChB or equivalent, recognised by the Irish Medical Council (IMC).Registration:Specialist Division Registration with the Irish Medical Council in General Practice.Experience:Minimum (1 years) post-qualification experience in general practice or family medicine.Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable SkillsExperience in chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, hypertension).Knowledge of Irish healthcare systems (HSE, GMS, private practice).Additional qualifications in women's health, paediatrics, or mental health (an advantage).
